This course develops instructors’ teaching identity and presence, helps them build inclusive learning communities, explores how students from different generations learn today, provides the resources for them to strengthen their delivery and classroom communication, and introduces AI as a tool for supporting connection and engagement.

This course explores assessment and grading, and the important differences between the two. Learners will explore ways to gather meaningful evidence, to provide quality feedback to students while learning where to make adjustments in the course. We’ll cover effective assessment of participation and group work, and how to use AI to structure a fair, thoughtful grading system.
